DIY Citrus All Purpose Cleaner

I’ve always known that vinegar neutralizes odor and is a natural cleaning solution. I’ve been playing with the idea of kicking my chemicals to the side for it but never did because I hate the smell! I can’t imagine my entire home smelling like vinegar. Well, since my son has been born, I’ve decided to add a twist to it and give it a try. I’m so afraid of him ingesting my cleaning supplies and really hurting himself. So here’s my version of a sweet smelling vinegar based all purpose cleaner:

You will need a jar or container of sorts, citrus peels (I used grapefruit and oranges), and apple cider vinegar (white vinegar is just as good).

All you will do is combine 2 parts vinegar and 3 parts water along with the peels of 2 citrus fruits. Bruise your peels with a wooden spoon to release their yummy smelling oils. Close up your jar and let it sit over night or 2. Strain the liquid from the peels and put into a spray bottle or even on some thick paper towels for cleaning wipes. Enjoy!
